Known issues: only the official incident log

Four official quickfixes are live. This page does not turn old Demo threads or a single player report into a release-wide defect.

Official fix

Quickfix #4

The developer corrected an inaccurate French translation in the end message. It also fixed a save-system issue that could cause certain story-related photos to appear corrupted after loading a save.

Quickfix #3

The developer added an FPS limit option to the settings menu, explaining that uncapped frame rate could use unnecessary GPU resources on powerful systems. The same spoiler-marked note increases the Backrooms mannequin's stun duration, slows it after three catches, and adds a button fallback after five seconds of no voice input on the second attempt.

Quickfix #2

The developer updated mouse input for some Bluetooth and wireless mice whose camera could suddenly flick or snap. It also fixed a Day 4 issue where the order panel could disappear after a specific point.

Quickfix #1

The developer reports two release fixes: a missing collision in one dream sequence that allowed wall clipping, and controller input interfering with mouse dragging. The game should now prioritize keyboard and mouse while they are in use.

Demo reports are not release facts

Older community threads mentioned high CPU use, a 32:9 display problem and unexpected W-key movement in the Demo. None is listed here as a current full-release issue without new evidence.
